Closet doors painted w/blue herons

These painted coat closet doors are in our living room.

Arched entrance between living room & kitchen dining roomMichael formed a lovely arch in our one interior straw wall.

At right: these pale snow geese fly below the radar in our hallway. The decoration is on the lower half) of one side only, leaving the upper half and the plainer lighter colored wall for hanging pictures. Note that neither picture is accurate for color...

Custom acrylic collage & painted light fixtureWe made two matching light fixtures of acrylic cut and bent, mounted in front of a finished maple board with three candelabra style light bulbs. Michael created the basic fixtures; I collaged and painted them, using tranlucent paper, acrylic medium, acrylic paint and acrylic varnish. After six years of bare bulbs in white porcelain sockets!

More geese fly by moonlight on our stairway.

Decorative painting on back of laundry folding table

The large wooden "eye" rotates to let me drop down a cunning fold down "folding table" in my laundry room. The hinged leg supports this narrow table in front of the stacked dryer, so that clothes can be pulled out directly onto a basket set on the table, then folded.
